Boro v Bray Wanderers 3-0

It was another run out and another opportunity for boro to step up their fitness levels and increase their sharpness against Irish outfit Bray Wanderers.

After only 27 minutes ex Charlton midfielder Bailey grabbed his first goal in a boro shirt, no doubt there will be more to follow this coming season.

Lita came off the bench to add a second and Miller, last seasons signing from Aberdeen finally opened his account for his new club.

The game overall had no fluency,as both teams were chopped and changed throughout the 90 minutes.

Overall it was a good night, 3 goals, a clean sheet and Bailey and Miller grabbing their first goals for the club.

The only downside was Kris Boyd limped off in the first half.

Now then Bernie. I’m not too concerned with pre-season results as they never make any difference as to how a season pans out. Even so a draw and a win gives a wee bit of confidence and it’s promising that some of the new lads have shown they know the way to goal.
Overall the starting 11 already looks a better and stronger proposition than last year-we still are desperate for two good wingers or we’ll end up mid-table again, you need width no matter what league your in. Full-back remains a worry-especially Arca back at left-back-has Taylor got any future under Strachan?
Bloody typical that a top signing get’s injured in a friendly-typical bloody Boro some things never change!
