Bernie Slaven started his career at Morton and played for Albion Rovers, Middlesbrough, Port Vale and Darlington. He was capped 7 times for the Republic of Ireland. He tells stories about showing his backside in Binns department store window, forgetting to take his boots to an international game and falling out with Steve McClaren over geese.
Malcolm Macdonald
Malcolm Macdonald started his professional career at Fulham and ended at Djurgardens, in between he played for Luton Town, Newcastle and Arsenal.
He was capped 14 times for England.
During his talk he tells stories about his 5 goals for England, Jackie Millburn and the manager that sold him from Newcastle Gordon Lee.
Micky Horswill
Micky Horswill played for his hometown club Sunderland, followed by moves to Manchester City, Plymouth Argyle, Hull City, Happy Valley and Carlisle United.
Some of his favourites while on the circuit are nights out with George Best and Bobby Moore, Sunderland’s players teeth going missing on cup final day and the FA Cup going missing.
