Crystal Palace 1, Middlesbrough 0.

Our 6 match unbeaten run came to an abrupt end and the goal conceded was an absolute freak.

Vaughans shot took a wicked deflection and ended up in the back of our net.

Mogga had only made one change from the Scunthorpe game, with Franks coming in for injured Emnes.

A draw would have been classed as a good away point and kept our unbeaten run going.

The last 3 games against so called weaker opposition, were billed as must win games.

Unfortunately we only managed to gain one point at home against Preston who were and still are bottom.

A win against second bottom Scunthorpe meant we took all three points at home.

Yesterday we gained no points against fourth bottom Palace.

Four points out of a possible nine simply is not good enough, no matter how we try and camouflage it.

The real test will come in the next 4 games against top 10 sides.
