Leeds 1, Middlesbrough 1.

Leeds United is always a difficult place to go, especially when you are not bang on form.

We took the lead in the 20th minute thanks to David Wheater, his 2nd goal in the last 2 games.

The stats show that Leeds had 68% of the possesion, but we contained them until the dying embers of the game.

Yet again all the good work was undone with the late equalizer from Becchio the goal scorer.

It might be new year but we still have the same old habits of giving away late goals.

I would have settled for 1 point before the game, but the way the game was panning out, we should have taken all 3 points.

Happy New year to everyone.

disappointed mate, but who else would have given us a hope ;@(

The dropping of 2 points lands firmly on the shoulders of Justin Hoyte.

He played well, but when you end up in the box with an open goal and

    1) Manage to not be able to shoot

    and

    2) Stop another player putting in the net

You cant call yourself a footballer, he has never been that efficient in preventing a goal in our own box, and form that disaster Leeds equalize. It all rests on Hoyte and due to that we find oursleves losing a relegation battle and Scunny only need 1pt out of 2 games in hand to jump us.

    Also Mowbray,

Robson on for the injured Thomson, when a similar player Tavaras is on the bench?

Bringing Lita off fullstop let alone for the immobile Boyd?

Bringing McDonald off for McMahon and then pushing Hoyte forward?

Clueless decisions. In the end Boro should have lost. 2011 is going to be worse than 2010 mark my words.
